Those of us who appreciate what is truly important in life understand that Sustenance is a magical place where wonderful things happen that at times boggle my feeble mind. Food for us is simply the binding ingredient for what is important, and that is community. Building community, connecting with each other in a way that defies the ongoing disintegration of humanity. We are not a restaurant!!!! We are a private cooking studio….. membership based. Thank you for your support, and we look forward to being here for you and with you for years to come!

Let see, hhmmmm…. classes, concerts, Music jam night… dinner parties! The idea I had of growing organically seems to be working. Many beautiful souls coming into the studio. Fall is just around the corner and time for us to start planning the holiday party season. Looking forward to sharing so much more of Sustenance with all of our friends and family.

HARD TO BELIEVE WE SURVIVED A YEAR!!!
There is so very much to say, the emotions are running wild and my heart is so very full! To all of the amazing friends who have shared with us over the last year. It has not always been easy, but it’s almost ALWAYS been fun and exciting. Sustenance is about community, connecting, sharing and growing. We have had so many exceptional humans contribute to the growth and beauty of Sustenance. Each person who has stepped thru the door and chosen to “shake off the dirt of life” and share all that we are has given so very much. Many thanks…… much peace…….. and very much love!!!

Sustenance heads to Cuba! Class tonight at 5 pm

Our Ethnic Cooking Series has been a big hit! We continue it on this evening, July 22nd, from 5 pm to 8 pm!!

Chef Linda Castellon has deep roots in the tiny island nation of Cuba, and she is here to share the secrets of an authentic and delicious Cuban meal! Linda will be sharing the rich history of Cuban cooking, as well as fundamentals for giving any meal a Cuban twist. This is a hands on experience, and all are welcome to attend.
