Welcome to class at Sustenance! It is more than a class, its an opportunity to get together with friends, make amazing food and of course, eat! Come early, bring wine and enjoy our space. (If you don’t see the class you want we can always arrange a private class for a group of 5 or more. Be in touch with us.) Our aim is always to please!
Health Nut Tuesdays: Healthy Alternative styles of cooking every 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month starting in June with “RAW!!!”

Raw food cuisine does not refer to different ways of arranging vegetable platters! Raw cuisine encompasses a variety of delicious interesting dishes from soups to desserts. Raw foods contain the most concentrated nutritional value we can get from food and as such is one of the single best things we can do for our health. Brunch is a wonderful and relaxing way to enjoy our beautiful location with family and friends. This class is designed to help inspire something beyond the standard egg casserole while still making sure to keep it easy. Learn how to make amazing scones, delicious savory sandwiches, easy puff pastries (that will wow), chocolate shortbread cookies and beautiful fruit and vegetables to round out the meal. While enjoying the food you learn to prepare in our beautiful setting. Bring family and friends and your own mimosa ingredients and make it a special occasion for all to share.

It is easier than you think! Once you learn how to smoke and cure your own bacon pancetta and Tasso’ Ham you will never go back to store-bought again. We’ll use the meats to make a traditional Italian meal of pasta amatriciana, fagioli bianchi (that’s white beans…don’t get nervous) and bietola (swiss chard) and oh si, si, vino (don’t think I need to translate.)

Learn how to make beautiful and delicious gourmet meals on limited budget. You will be able to throw a fabulous dinner party and impress your friends with the presentation. We will try the menu out at this fun evening class! Bring your appetite and a paring knife so you can create beautiful garnishes for your food! Learn tricks for turning everyday into horray!

Stuffed dates, crostini with red peppers, Send them home thinking about what they had and wanting more. Plus you get to have a party of your own with the food we make. It’s gotta be crusty and crumbly and golden brown on the outside. It’s gotta be stretchy on the inside with big air pockets. And olive oil, yes it has to be laced with the flavor of olive oil. Lear to prepare the real deal at home. It is impossible to find at the store, but easy to do it yourself.
